Crete Studio’s goal: To be a one-stop-shop for handmade, timeless yet bold concrete interiors. The visual identity needed to reflect this. Timeless, bold, fun and slightly quirky, this identity was created to appeal to consumers that value aesthetics, quality, artisanship and sustainability. We had fun creating a colour palette, beskpoke type and elements that invoke the beautiful, curvaceous, unique pieces they create where the only limits to the designs are you imagination! Designed thoughtfully to be applied consistently to everything from packaging to digital applications, we hope to see Crete Studio in the most stunning of locations very soon!

Large organisations such as AbbVie require regular promotional material, and quite often in more than one language. Some of these recent posters created for AbbVie Australia & New Zealand were produced with both English & Maori copy, we also regularly source  geographically relevant imagery.

To raise awareness of the devastating impact of rare genetic diseases on young children, younger adults and their families.
To explain what gene therapy is and how it can help.

Together, our team created design concepts for, and developed, this bespoke podcast website showcasing an educational initiative dedicated to delivering the latest insights from a congress to Australian patients and caregivers. 

The Congress for Patients podcast is a joint initiative by Humanise Health & MedWise consulting. The podcast artwork needed to be simple, align with the design concept for the Congress for Patients landing page and easily showcase the subject and the expert lead in each episode.

Our amazing purpose led client Sun & Earth are expanding their range and required a re-design and update to their Shopify store. Our developer Nico specialises in custom coding for Shopify's liquid language and has given the site a fresh new look and better functionality in both the front and back end, making life simple for our clients.

McLennan Engineering, a Ballina based business making a name for themselves in the custom fabrication industry for recreational vehicles needed a website that reflected their growth and success. The site also needed to direct potential customers to the information they needed quickly and easily, across the two main markets they service. We did this with some simple but visually impactful UX (user experience) - carefully consider the role of user experience and guided messaging when planning your website.

We set out to create a visual identity for Bangalow Wellness Hub, a boutique aesthetic medicine hub in the heart of Bangalow.

The new visual identity needs to convey a playful, eccentric, and decadent feel, while still insprising trust and reputability with it’s clientele.
Bangalow Wellness Hub aims to attract a vast array of clients, and so it is essential for the branding to feel accessible, but still luxurious and opulent. The venue itself is full of character, colour, vibrancy, and extravagance, so it is important to compliment this while not overpowering the feel of the space.

Our branding concept explores art deco themes in combination with the vintage decadence of handmade sign writing. This design begs to be guilded in gold, and is just as chic in it’s simplest form as it is embellished in extravagant ornameltal flourishes.
There’s so many fun possibilities with this brand, and even the simplest version is bold, a little playful, and right at home in the warm, federation style of Bangalow.

We loved customising this Shopify site for Loop Sisters! They came to us seeking something an e-commerce website that was functional, while also being a little playful and on brand. The business is all about handcrafted, affordable pieces - so we wanted to make something that mirrored this, being artisanal while also offering the best customer journey. We created this site to work well no matter what device is being used - whether their customers are shopping on desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile - this website will perform perfectly every time. It’s been built to be highly converting, while not compromising on style - perfectly capturing the Loop Sister’s brand aesthetic.

The passionate humans behind Loop Sisters came to us seeking a brand that elevated their offering – beautiful, handcrafted jewellery, made in small batches in the northern rivers. We created a logo that was fluid, artisanal, unique and yet still legible, practical - elegant but functional. Like any collaborative initiative, this website needed to have a corporate element, while also being functional and modern. Next Chapter Decluttering, a professional organising and decluttering company, had approached our team to develop a new website that reflected their brand identity, showcased their services, and attracted potential clients.

The website was designed to be user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimised for search engines. The website was developed using a content management system (CMS) that allowed the client to update and manage the website’s content easily.

Circulate 2021 was created for client NE Waste in collaboration with Southern Cross University. The event was about promoting a circular economic model – where resources are reduced, reused or removed from the cycle, considering waste as a design flaw.

They wanted a short trailer to sum up the series, featuring some snippets from the recording of the episodes, as well as highlighting the amazing industry that the series was developed to investigate.

Media Mode is Australia’s leading celebrity content publishing agency (aka. PAPARAZZI BABY). They supply celebrity content to the biggest news outlets in Australia, and the world. They wanted a modern, editorial vibe brand refresh that was part modern, part minimalist, part bold. The owner wanted a deep pink incorporated as a nod to being fiercely female owned and we love what we have come up with!

Working with FOSFIT gyms has been such a fun project! As a part of their website project, we visited both locations (Casino & Evans head) to take some shots of their space and team! We love how they turned out and capturing the details was so special.

Hula Pools is a pool construction company offering unique, modular pools to the Northern Rivers and beyond. They wanted something incorporating a ‘hula’ element, quite literally which became the hula woman icon which immediately identifies the brand. This was such a fun project – and we loved each and every concept – so we’ve popped the original concepts below too. The client wanted a combination of a few, which amalgamated into the final logo.

We love this video, created by our videographer Belle – to provide an overview of Cawarra Cosmetics. They wanted a quick video to provide a behind the scenes glimpse into their manufacturing process, while also tying into the concepts of the natural world that they so actively embrace.

Oasis Aesthetics Studio is a Ballina based skin clinic. Owner Kylee approached us at the beginning of her journey to design a logo, brand identity, tell a story through photographic content creation and create a functional website for online booking.

Bottoms Up Colonics is a client we’ve worked with this year, as they expanded their operations. We helped expand on their branding with custom iconography and brand elements, as well as developing several brand documents and assets such as: Brand Guidelines, Licensee Information, Aftercare Guidelines and several ebooks.

We LOVED working with Stockpot on their new website. The brief was essentially party up front, business in the back. A little bit vintage, a little bit cheeky and a lot of fun – we think this website captured their awesome vibe perfectly.

Of COURSE – it also had to be super easy for people to use on mobile, fast loading and allow people to call, get directions or place an order in one tap of the finger! Of course, we’re all about ‘market research’ and understanding the client, so we had quite a few dine in and takeaway meals during the process 😉 Check it out and see what you think!

We loved creating this brand identity for Tia of THRIVE Exercise Physiology. The brief was: modern, strong and evoking movement – which we think comes across beautifully in this logo! A pairing of  fun iconography and font, this logo is versatile and works well in the brand colourway as well as in black and white.

A Bientot is a beautiful Fashion Label who needed an elegant, minimalist logo. They wanted the logo to be lowercase, handwritten and with a dash of playfulness.

We love the versatility of this design and how it works across various platforms. It’s simple yet charming enough to be incredibly memorable.

Who doesn’t love this local brand?? Sun & Earth Zinc are a local, small batch zinc business run by the sweetest family you’ll meet. A little bit of a natural vibe and a little bit 70s – their new website captures their essence perfectly!

We also helped tie together all of their brand assets by creating a brand identity document that could be sent to photographers or other people that the brand may work with. These documents show, in depth, all the ways that the brand presents itself to stay on brand. We also created a social media strategy document to help tie together their socials and a stockist document to send off to potential stockists!

It was so fun creating this colourful brand for Personal Trainer Bek Foley! Bek’s approach is all about endurance – a “You can climb any mountain” kind of attitude which is infectious! While we didn’t go out and climb any mountains, we did choose to include them in her design. We also love how the font conveys strength and energy while keeping fairly gender neutral across the whole design.
